Introduction to Chronology of X

Small update - Crossovers with other companies and a few more things

Before tackling World War Hulk, I've decided to add a few more things that are missing, namely crossovers with other companies (DC, Malibu) and Marvel UK. Here is the list of things added to the reading order:

In Part 05

Death's Head II: The Lotus FX (optional)
Death's Head II v2 #1-4

MyS-TECH Wars (optional)
Hell's Angel #1-5

All New Exiles Vs X-Men
Phoenix Resurrection #0 (Chapters 1 to 7)
Phoenix Resurrection: Genesis
Phoenix Resurrection: Revelations
Phoenix Resurrection #0 (Chapter 8)

Also broken the In the Red Zone volume into two, in order to fit the Ultraverse story and
X-Men & Clan Destine #1-2  issues between other stories, shuffled some things around.

In Part 07

DC Vs Marvel: All Access (optional)
DC/Marvel: All Access #1-4

Unlimited Access (optional)
Batman / Spider-Man: New Age Dawning
Unlimited Access #1-4

Also, I'm resetting volume numbers inside each part so things are more manageable whenever there is the need to add new volumes in the past.

Small update - Infinity Crusade

So here's the last of the original Infinity trilogy - Infinity Crusade:

Infinity Crusade (optional)
[Like Infinity War, there are a lot of irrelevant tie-ins. I'm mainly including the mandatory tie-ins: Warlock Chronicles and Warlock and the Infinity Watch.
The prelude includes all the issues of Warlock and the Infinity Watch that occur between Infinity War and Crusade, along with a couple of Silver Surfer Stories.]

Silver Surfer: Homecoming
Warlock and the Infinity Watch #11-15
Silver Surfer / Warlock: Resurrection #1-4
Warlock and the Infinity Watch #16-17
-----
Infinity Crusade #1 (p. 1-14)

Mighty Thor #464
-----
Infinity Crusade #2
-----
Infinity Crusade #3 (p. 1-8)
Warlock Chronicles #2
Warlock and the Infinity Watch #19 (p. 5-end)
Infinity Crusade #3 (p. 9-26:4)
Warlock Chronicles #3
Infinity Crusade #3 (p. 27:3-end)
Warlock and the Infinity Watch #20
-----
Infinity Crusade #4 (p. 1-27)

Infinity Crusade #5 (p. 2:6-28:2)
Warlock Chronicles #5
Infinity Crusade #5 (p. 28:3-end)
Warlock and the Infinity Watch #22
-----
Infinity Crusade #6

So that's it for the Infinity trilogy. World War Hulk comes next and then I will resume the chronology where I paused - House of X / Powers of X.

Small update - Infinity War

After Infinity Gauntlet, comes Infinity War:

Infinity War (optional)
[Unlike Infinity Gauntlet, this event includes the X-Men (although in mostly background roles). Also, it features dozens of tie-ins. Most of the tie-ins are not included as they add little to nothing to the main narrative. Some tie-ins, although quite irrelevant, are fun to read, those I included as optional. Then there are some tie-ins which actually expand on the main story. Most of the tie-ins do not fit perfectly between the issues of the main books, and there is a lot of overlapping between issues, so this is one of those events that have a lot of issue splicing.
Regarding the prelude, it includes the formation of the Infinity Watch, which is the mandatory bridge between Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity War.]

Infinity Crusade comes next.

Small update - Infinity Gauntlet

After reaching House of X, I decided to take a break from X-Men comics to catch up on other Marvel-related readings.

Such readings involve crossover such as Infinity Gauntlet, War, Crusade and World War Hulk.

I am going to add the reading orders for these events in their proper place, for now, I'm adding only Infinity Gauntlet:

Infinity Gauntlet (optional)
[This event doesn't really affect the X-Men (and I don't think it is ever referred in X-comics. However, since in the future pretty much every line-wide crossover includes X-comics, I decided to include this one as well. I'm adding Thanos Quest and Silver Surfer issues as prelude as I consider them required reading for the main event. Regarding the tie-ins, I'm just including the relevant ones, which are mostly Doctor Strange issues.]

Thanos Quest #1-2
Silver Surfer v3 #44-50
-----
Infinity Gauntlet #1
Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme (1st story) #31
Infinity Gauntlet #2
Silver Surfer v3 #52
Infinity Gauntlet #3
Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme (1st story) #33
Infinity Gauntlet #4
Infinity Gauntlet #5 (p. 1-5)
Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme #34-35
Infinity Gauntlet #5 (p. 6-end)
Infinity Gauntlet #6
Silver Surfer v3 #60 (p. 1-5)
Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme #36

Infinity War comes next.
